Failure To Attend Policy

At Maidstone Dental and Implant Centre we require 48 hours’ notice for cancellation of an appointment. Should you be unable to provide us with 48hours notice, or do not contact us at all to inform us you will not be attending the following process will be implemented.

Existing NHS Patients:
FTA1 – This will be the first time you fail to attend or fail to provide us with 48hours notice of cancellation. You will receive a letter from us advising to call and rebook your appointment.

FTA2 – This will be the second time you fail to attend or fail to provide us with 48hours notice of cancellation. You will receive a letter from us advising to call and rebook your appointment, with a warning that should this happen again, we will have no choice but to deregister you as an NHS patient at this practice.

FTA3 – This will be the third time you fail to attend or fail to provide us with 48hours notice of cancellation. You will receive a letter from us advising that we are now unable to see you as an NHS patient at the practice. You will be given the option to remain at the practice as a private patient only.
