Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are hand crafted, fine pieces of porcelain that fit over your tooth in the same way a false nail fits over your finger nail. They can be used to correct a variety of different flaws including chipped, damaged, crooked, gapped or discoloured teeth. In order to provide you with a high level of finish, we add veneers from the centre teeth and also use pairs of veneers to ensure that your smile remains symmetrical. Veneers are expected to have a life span of around 7-15 years before they will need to be replaced.

Veneers are custom made over two appointments. At the first appointment the dentist will prepare your teeth and take impressions. These will be sent to the laboratory technician for them to hand craft your custom-made veneers. Each veneer will be colour matched to ensure that they blend seamlessly with your natural teeth. At the second appointment the dentist will attach the veneers using a strong adhesive. With recent advances in technology most veneer treatment is completely pain free and you will not even need an anaesthetic.

Veneers improve your confidence – veneers help to create your perfect smile, ensuring that you have complete confidence in your smile.

Veneers provide a minimally invasive solution – veneers are made from very fine pieces of porcelain, meaning that your natural teeth require little or no preparation prior to fitting.

Veneers are stain resistant – this means that the veneers will not darken or change colour over time, ensuring that you can maintain your brighter smile.

Veneers are low maintenance – once in place veneers can be looked after in the same way as your natural teeth and no special maintenance is required.
